One supposes that no 'oaths' were taken in either Iraq one or two? Nor during Bosnia, Vietnam, Korea, World Wars two and one? Or the Mexican War or the French and Indian War or the Spanish War, or the War of 1812 or indeed the Revolutionary years?

Another way of scolding a prosperous America; as with public education, this implies that this nation ought be no better than the common denominator of the world community, as a matter of fairness and equality.

Both Clinton and Obama had/have good speech writers, amplified by practiced delivery, much like actors on stage, they deliver their lines well.
Expect no results in the 'stimulus spending' for the next two years, the pundits say, as the infrastructure rebuilding will take years to plan and implement.
For those who do not recall the Soviet Union's many , "Five Year Plans", in which the Socialist government promised results to an enslaved population if they just worked a little harder and waited a little longer; for those that don't remember, don't be surprised when the Obama five year plan is soon announced.
Socialist, 'pie in the sky', Lennon's, "Imagine..." effete prayers for peace and prosperity through cooperation and equality, have always failed and will fail again as the nature of man dictates competition and individual freedom.
