I am a middle aged woman, that loves her family above all else. I enjoy politics most of the time, reading, writing, singing, walking and intelligent thought provoking conversations are my passions. I have 3 grown children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I have been a single working parent all my adult life. I have more "liberal" views. I don't understand why the word Liberal is used in demeaning ways. If it weren't for Liberals/Progressives: 1.Women still wouldn't have the right to Vote. 2. Slavery would still exist. 3. Corporations wouldn't prosper. 4. We wouldn't have natural gas to heat are homes. 5. We wouldn't be blogging on the World Wide Web. And the list can go on..... |
