I was born and reared in Texas. Now I live in NYC (15 years)

Read as much as I can. Anything and everything. Trying to stay away from politics, and idealogy as much as I can, but find that I am still drawn to these topics initialy, and do enjoy a lively inteligent debate without the name calling. Though tempers flaring and name calling seems to be the rule, more times than not. I consider myself an independent with democratic leanings of late simply because I feel the republican party has shifted toward something unbecoming with this administration driving the divisive, fear driven rhetoric that it has.

    I work in the theater as an actor, and have been fortunate enough to travel a bit while performing. Finding myself in such locales as Africa, Europe, and through the States.

   I look forward to sharing with all in this forum of discussion. My last attempt in the arena of online discussion was some time in 1999. I found it to be full of 'poop' jokes, and other "Mencia" type of chatter. This looks to be different.
