I firmly agree with the fact that Bush will and SHOULD veto the bill that requires a timeline for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. Think about it... in order to ensure the stability of an Iraqi democracy, we have to give the infant democracy a little more time to get its footing. If we left Iraq right now the entire country would be succeptable to riots, sectarian wars, and countless acts of uncontrolled violence. This violence would be directed at the Iraqi police, military, and civilian population. Right now we are playing the role of the parent trying to teach an infant to walk. We cannot leave them to fend for their own until they are sufficiently able to support their own country and people. Feel free to respond and I will try to answer questions.
