Vladimir Putin gives his take on the Georgian war.  He describes his discussions with George W. Bush in China.  The most important thing is that he said that we "equipped and trained the Georgian Army"; morevoer, he said that his intelligence led him to believe that citizens of the United States were directly in the combat zone.  He said if that was the case, then someone in the United States created the conflict to create a competitive advantage for a candidate in the United States.

I know what a democrat might say to this, but I would like a person from the right to give their view.  First off if you dismiss it blindly then there will be no need to respond; however, if you have an idea on what Putin's angle is, then I would like to hear it.  The question I would most like to hear answered is why he would even say it?
