Hello Everyone - Tired of Politics - Yeah Me Too - We Only Have a Little Ways to Go!

As everyone knows, this election cycle is extremely important.  We just spoke with our tax attorney and the plan is set.  If Obama is elected we will have to lay off approximately 50% of our staff.  These employees have families and children.  These employees are also our friends.  These employees have a low chance of getting hired within our industry - banks are not hiring.  The company just cannot afford to keep them.  They will not have jobs, they will only have health insurance for 3 months-these people will suffer.  With the expense of payrolls we have to use a line of credit for our payroll (to ensure that everyone gets paid on time as income is coming in), which means that according to bank underwriting guidelines we have to maintain a certain amount of liquidity within our bank accounts (which we are getting penalized for under the Obama tax plan), therefore it is impossible to keep them on with all these new laws of "distributing the wealth".  Obama's new tax laws (which will take effect because Democratic Extremists would have the majority in Congress and Executive Branch), will cripple our current business and ensure that our profits suffer, thus being unable to rehire.  We just wouldn't have the liquidity to achieve what we want to achieve - it would go to Obama's "distribute the wealth" campaign.  We cannot even give our employees a heads up because you cannot show preference to one candidate verse the other without the possibility of getting sued.  We have worked extremely hard to get where we are at.  We work weekends -we barely took off time for our wedding to ensure business was strong!  We have put our heart and soul into this company and now look at where we are at.  We saved the company while the rest of the lending community dove into chaos.  We protected our employees all the way throughout and now to have the possibility to have it taken from us because of inexperienced leadership - is too much to bear.

So I write to you all.  I cannot sleep and am extremely upset over this election.  We have volunteered for McCain's campaign and donated.  I am asking all of you to go out there and pound the streets.  I know Republicans tend to be more reserved but our way of life is being attacked and the Government is interfering - telling all of us what to do.  I implore you to talk to your friends and family.  Please help!!!

For all of you who have differing political views - I do apologize for upsetting you - I feel that it is important enough to say.  As all of these politicians are preaching about how they are going to help everyone, I just wanted everyone to know that as a small business owner there are realities which are not being discussed.  If I could save my friends' jobs, I would, I have and I continue to try. 

Now it seems to be beyond my reach so I am looking for help from all of you.
